Learning the Jelq Technique

If you’ve been lead to believe that your penile size is a genetically predetermined factor that would take nothing less than divine intervention to alter, then this short article may well surprise you. That’s because in this article you’ll learn a simple technique that’ll help you to beef up your little fella to Universal Soldier type masculinity. So if you want a penis that would make Dolph Lundgren your only worthy adversary, then read on.

What you’re going to learn is a technique called the “Jelq” and in order to do it you’ll need some scissors, a roll of Sellotape, one of the old style fairy liquid bottles, some string, superglue and a cardboard toilet tube. Only joking…the great thing about the Jelq is that in fact it requires nothing but some time, patience and dedication in order to let it work its magic. The Jelq you see, is a simple penile “exercise” that costs nothing to learn and uses just your hands (and a bit of baby oil for lubricant) to perform. And I know that you’re thinking…sounds similar to something you’ve been doing for years right?

You’ll learn how to perform the Jelq before the end of this article, but before you do, let’s just take a closer look at the idea behind the exercise and what exactly it does.

The Jelq works by stimulating the two physiological processes that promote any type of tissue growth – hyperplasia (cell multiplication) and hypertrophy (cell enlargement). These responses occur whenever a tissue type is exposed to a stress that pushes them beyond their normal limits. Just as lifting weights can increase muscle tissue or skin can develop a thick callus through repetitive friction, the cells within the penis can be stimulated into hyperplasia and hypertrophy by using the Jelq. In the case of the penile tissues, the Jelq provides the environment for hypertrophy and hyperplasia by increasing penile blood volume, which in effect ‘stretches’ the dimensions of the penis.

Performing the Jelq

As with any type of exercise technique, knowing what you’re doing and doing what you’ve learned methodically are the keys to both success and the avoidance of injury. The following step-by-step instructions explain the basic ‘beginner’ Jelqing technique – a technique that nicely prepares the penis so that you won’t be prone to injuries down the line. It also helps you to build proper technique – a factor that’s vital to master before you move onto the more advanced, hardcore techniques:

  1. Warm Up, Warm Up, Warm Up!!! This is vital to avoiding injury. Simply wrap your flaccid penis in a flannel that’s been soaked in warm water and keep it in place for a couple of minutes. This draws more blood into the penile tissues and raises your core temperature so that the penile tissues are supple enough to be safely exercised. Keep reapplying the warm flannel until you look like you’ve just got out of a hot bath. Thinking about it, another way to warm up effectively is just to have a hot bath!
  2. Here’s the easy bit: think sexy thoughts and achieve a partial erection. Bear in mind that you don’t want more than about a half full boner – your penis should still feel pliable and supple. Jelqing on a rock hard erection can cause a nasty accident – believe it or not it is possible to fracture your penis, which those who have experienced it say is a torturous experience.
  3. Lubricate – there’s going to be a lot of sliding and gliding going on in the next few minutes, so just like a car engine needs oil to keep going, you’re going to need baby oil or some other gentle lubricant to make sure things don’t cease up. Quick tip: Don’t use soap – prolonged Jelqing with soap inflames the skin and hurts like hell.
  4. Make a circle around the base of your penis with the thumb and forefinger of one hand and grip tightly enough to prevent any blood from escaping behind your grip. The idea is to use the gripping hard to force blood forward so you need to be quite firm with your grip.
  5. Slide the gripping hand slowly down the length of your penile shaft – concentrating on forcing the blood forward as you do. Remember, it’s the pressure of the blood ‘stretching’ the penile tissues that stimulates the growth process. Take your time with this ‘milking’ motion – to derive the most benefit, each Jelqing stroke should take at least 3 seconds to complete.
  6. Release your hand when it reaches just behind the glans (the tip of your penis) and simultaneously start the same action with your other hand. Keep this continuous milking process going in one fluid action, alternating between each of your hands until you’ve completed the desired number of reps.

So there you have it – the basic Jelq in a nutshell. Start off by doing about 50 basic Jelq reps per day (which using the 3 second rule shouldn’t take you much longer than 3 minutes) and gradually work up by 10 additional reps every few days until your Jelqing sessions are lasting 15 – 20 minutes.
