Natural Penis Enlargement and the Jelq
One thing is for certain, natural penis enlargement exercises have been around far longer than the Internet or the websites that have made them so popular. One of the oldest penis enlargement exercises is known as the Jelq. There are several theories as to where the Jelq originated, but the widest held belief is that this exercise originated several centuries ago as part of Sudanese Arab culture - where a large well-developed penis was considered a sign of fertility, power and a strong reflection of masculinity. It is claimed that by Jelqing everyday from puberty to adulthood, some of these Arab men reached lengths of up to 18 inches. Whether this is true or not, the Jelq is without a doubt one of the most powerful exercises known and forms an important part of a natural penis enlargement workout.
How To Jelq
The idea of the Jelq is to force as much blood as possible into the erectile tissue. This causes the erectile tissue to gradually expand, which over time results in an increase in penis length and thickness.
The Jelq involves applying a milking motion to the penis. To perform the exercise effectively, you must first have a partial erection. To be more specific, your penis should be between 50 - 70 percent erect. Less than this and you won't have enough blood within your penis to fully expand the erectile tissue, while Jelqing with more than a 70 percent erection places too much pressure on the veins within the penis.
Once you have achieved a partial erection and applied some sort of lubrication such as Baby Oil or Vaseline, you then grasp tightly around the base of the penis (the part closest to the body) using the thumb and forefinger of your right hand. The idea is to completely encircle the penile shaft, squeezing firmly enough to trap the blood securely within your penis.
Maintaining a firm grip and pressure, you then slowly slide your hand along the penile shaft. As you do so, the blood within your penis is forced forwards into every part of the erectile tissue and towards the glans (head), causing the erectile tissue to expand beyond its normal limits.
As your right hand nears the top of the penile shaft (just before you reach the glans), you then grasp around the base of your penis with your other hand. Releasing your right hand, you then perform the same action with your left hand. This milking motion is repeated continuously with each stroke taking around 2 seconds to perform.
Combining The Jelq
The Jelq is only one of a wide range of exercises that you need to perform in order to enlarge your penis as quickly as possible. Used on its own, the Jelq can promote gains in penis size, but it takes a lot of time and effort to see results. The Sudanese Arabs for example, apparently used to Jelq for about 45 minutes every single day over many years to see gains.
But by properly combining several exercises in the right sequence, you won't need to work out for this amount of time to see great results.
