The Right Mindset for Effective Penis Enlargement

Applied correctly, either penile exercise or traction (or even a combination of the two if you’re extremely motivated) can be amazingly effective – providing a practical way for any man to beef up his little fella with minimal investment and with next to no risk of injury. But the sad fact is…for some it just doesn’t seem to work.

Personally, I just can’t understand that mindset – if you really don’t think natural penis enlargement is possible then don’t bother trying – you’re absolutely setting yourself up for failure before you begin.
But when it comes to successfully enlarging your penis, there’s more involved than having a little self belief and motivation – setting realistic goals, effective planning, a willingness to learn, as well as intelligent application of what you’ve learned are all equally important. These are just some of the psychological keys to success I’ll detail below:
Realism…
It’s true to say that a lot of men start under false illusions as to how much effort / and or time it’ll take them to see results. Marketing hype and in some cases, sheer false advertising, all try to make the process of adding a couple of extra inches to your favourite buddy sound as effortless and as quick as possible - for obvious reasons.
Of course, if you start out under the misapprehension that your penis will grow so quickly that you’ll be knocking stranded kittens out of trees within a couple of weeks of training, then your initial excitement is going to turn very abruptly into disappointment…after a couple of weeks in fact.
Approaching your goal of a larger penis with a degree of realism is therefore essential. You must understand that there are no quick fix solutions when it comes to increasing penile size through non-surgical means. Whether you choose to use exercise or traction, it will take several months of consistent effort to reap the full rewards. But have no doubt about it…that few months’ worth of investment will provide a lifetime’s worth of rewards. Understanding this basic truth from the outset will help to give you the necessary mental resources to see the job through.
Setting Small, Achievable and Single Minded Goals
What’s the problem with setting one big goal – for example, telling yourself that you’re going to increase your erect penis length by 2 inches in three months?
Well quite simply it’s an all or nothing approach that’s setting you up for failure before you begin.
For a start, you have no evidence on which to base this goal, because you have no previous experience of how you’re penis is going to respond. You’ll also need to build up the knowledge to know when and how to adapt your workouts to sustain optimum penile growth.

Plan where and when…
Likewise, if you opt to use a penile traction device then you probably won’t need to give a great deal of thought as to how you’re going to fit your enlargement routine into your day. Opting for penile exercise on the other hand requires that you give some thought as to when and where you’ll be able to complete your workouts – and you will need to set aside a good 30 minutes, 4 days a week to do so.
Obviously, you’ll want total privacy…but you’ll also need to ensure that the time you put aside is free of distractions – in other words, no TV on in the background or letting the day’s stresses preoccupy your thoughts. Why?
To succeed with penile exercise you need to take note of all the subtle feedback your penis provides during each workout session (i.e. are you experiencing the positive physical indicators of growth or the tell tale signs of over training) – and you can only do that if you’re entirely focused and free of distraction. So ensure each workout is carefully planned to be totally interruption free. Each workout has to be 100% ‘you’ time.
Keep accurate records of your progress…
Considering the commitment it’ll take to enlarge your penis, you’d think that taking accurate measurements to chart your progress would seem a pretty obvious thing to do, right? Well…it’s amazing how many men fail to do so.
I cannot over emphasise this point – taking accurate measurements is a MUST. It’s only through consistent measuring that you’ll be able to tell if your present routine is working or not. If you’re not keeping track of this most fundamental aspect of your development how can you possibly judge with any degree of accuracy what's working and what isn't?
For a start, when you see the old fella on a daily basis it’s impossible to visually note penile size increases any more than you notice yourself getting older (and maybe fatter) in the mirror each day. Take this to the extreme and you might stop doing a particular workout because visually you haven't recognised the subtle cumulative changes . But if you'd only taken the time to take accurate measurements, you'd have seen in fact that you were making steady progress.
Accurate measuring, in other words, takes the subjectivity out of the enlargement process and keeps everything scientific with a series of undisputable progress 'snapshots'.
Now the trick here is not to measure too frequently – I’d recommend measuring no more than once every two weeks. More than that and you’re likely to find that your changes in penile size are so insignificant that you quickly get frustrated. By measuring every too weeks you’ll give yourself a series of meaningful reference points which will help you to determine whether your present penile exercise / traction routine is effective.
Certainly, you should be able to record some physical increase in both the length and girth of your penis over each two week period, which will obviously boost your motivation.
If you haven't recorded any improvements after say two consecutive measurements (one month) then you'll know that your current regime isn't working for you (and you can do something about it).
How to Accurately Measure Your Penis…
The only way to accurately measure your penis length is when you’re fully erect because as you’ll know, your flaccid size can vary significantly throughout the day.
To measure erect length accurately, hold your fully erect penis parallel to the floor and place a rigid ruler on the top side of the shaft. Press the ruler as far against your pubic bone as you can to take your length measurement (this is known as a bone pressed erect length measurement). By doing this, you're eliminating any measuring inaccuracies caused by the pad of fat at the base of your penile shaft.
Measuring erect girth is simply a case of wrapping a tailor’s tape measure around the mid-point of your erect penis.
As mentioned above, measure once every other week – this will give you a series of useful markers to determine whether your current training penile exercise or traction routine is working to your advantage.
Final Word...
Both penile exercise and traction are based on physiologically sound principles - they will work given time. But like trying to increase muscle mass the process can take time to fully optimize. But make no mistake, if you stay consistent with your efforts and use the points above to stay mentally on track, you will enlarge your penis - and the results will in all likelihood exceed your expectations.
