Type 1 Medical Penis Traction Devices
Clinical studies undertaken to assess the effectiveness of traction have all involved the usage of medically developed, precision engineered traction devices. Although there are a number of devices currently marketed, only two have been subjected to medical scrutiny and have gained certification as Type 1 Medical Devices suitable specifically for the purpose of safe and effective non-surgical penis enlargement.
The importance of using a medically approved device should not be underestimated. In order to achieve sustained penile growth in a safe and methodical manner, the device you use must be capable of maintaining extremely precise, easily adjusted and sustained levels of traction of between 900g – 1500g - which represent the levels of traction that have shown to provide optimum results in clinical trials. Imitation or inferior quality devices are often incapable of providing these exacting levels of traction, which can make them both ineffective and potentially dangerous.
In addition, the scrutiny of the medical approval process ensures the development of anatomically correct designs that provide comfortable and safe usage. A common problem with imitation devices for example is that they tend to restrict blood flow to the head of the penis or alternatively, frequently come loose due to substandard and untested attachment methods. Penis traction devices are most effective when worn for several hours a day, and only medically approved devices have been shown to allow prolonged safe and comfortable usage.
Finally, only certified devices are built to the quality standards required of medical instruments. They are constructed with medical grade materials, which are both durable and reliable. Without these required medical build standards, non-certified devices are often flimsily built with low grade materials that are unsuitable for the purpose. I've heard of horror stories where users of copy devices have experienced tension rods snapping whilst being worn for example, which unless you fancy your old fella being impaled on a jagged piece of metal is something most definately to be avoided.
Until recently, Type 1 Medical penile traction devices were prohibitively expensive costing an average of $1500 – due to their high research and development costs. Over the past couple of years however, with increased public demand (due to the conclusive evidence of their efficacy and safety) prices have fallen substantially and have settled at around the $350 mark. Such devices are unlikely to fall further in price however due to their reputation and certification as medical apparatus. However, they are now an affordable option for men serious about increasing penile size through a medically verified non-surgical option.
There are currently only two penis traction devices that have gained the above medical certification - the SizeGenetics and Pro Extender devices. Both devices are built to exacting medical standards and will provide similar results when used consistently. My personal preference leans towards the SizeGenetics device however, due to its highly innovative 'comfort strap' design, which provides a more reliable means of securing the penis during use. By increasing both comfort levels and preventing potential slippage, the device can be easily and unobtrusively worn for even longer periods per session - which ultimately equates to quicker gains.
