Do You Really Need To Enlarge Your Penis?

Increased Confidence
That may be the answer!
On the previous page we dispelled a couple of common myths about the importance of penis size. Firstly, we set the record straight about average penis length, by noting that clinical studies into the subject report that an erect length of anywhere between 5.5 and 6.25 inches puts you in the average range.
Secondly, we dispelled the myth that women, generally speaking at least, prioritise penis size as an important male attribute. Studies here suggest that it’s about an 80 / 20 split between women who are happy with Mr Average and those who aren’t happy unless the mere sight of their partner’s penis makes their eyes water.
So, say you are average, are there any legitimate reasons to still want more – to be bigger than average?
The Confidence Equation…
You may have some abstract notion that developing your penis to Ron Jeremy like proportions will have a positive impact on your overall confidence levels.
Is there any credibility to this theory - can the addition of a couple of inches just for the sake of it really make you a happier person?
Well I guess that depends on the individual. In my case, the desire for increased confidence was indeed the primary reason I started down the whole penis enlargement route. Did it work? Yes…I certainly feel more self-assured for the change.
Call it shallow, but as men I don't think we can help but link some of our self-worth to the size of our dicks. It's a fundamental aspect of our masculinity which we can't deny...the bigger your dick, the more of a man you feel and the more respect you'll get from others.
But that’s just my subjective personal experience. Am I unique in experiencing a psychological boost from having a bigger penis? According to research, apparently not.
The 2006 University of California study we looked at in first part of this article went on to note some pretty interesting male attitudes to penis size. The researchers found that the men most like to be affected by anxieties over their penis size, regardless of age, were already endowed with average sized penises. A little odd you might think, that is, until you add this next little piece of the jigsaw. When comparing penis size to confidence levels, they also noted that the 22 percent of men with larger than average penises happened to also consider themselves the most attractive – a finding which suggested a direct link between larger penis size and higher confidence levels.
In 2009, a study by psychologists at Victoria University, Australia made a similar link when they compared the penile size and emotional well-being of 700 men. ‘Higher self-esteem, better health and high body satisfaction’ were the reported psychological traits of the men with larger than average penis.
What’s more, their explanation for this link was pretty straightforward – and had nothing to do with worries about pleasing the fairer sex or being smaller than average. The researchers stated quite simply that those men with larger than average penis were generally happier and more confident simply because they considered themselves closer to our cultural perception of the ‘male ideal’. In other words, they felt more masculine.
But I also recall one well known specialist penis enlargement surgeon, Dr Harold Reed, who was quoted as saying in the late 90’s that ‘an introvert with a bigger penis will not an extrovert be.’ In other words, a bigger penis might not always be the fix you need to achieve super confidence.
There's undoubtedly a degree of truth in those words – it’s hard to imagine that having a bigger penis could change your base personality.
But I'd be surprised to hear any man say that he didn't feel more masculine, more assertive and more confident once he'd gained those couple of extra inches – because as highlighted by the studies above, the link between these emotions and penis size is, for better or for worse, hard wired into our genes.
And yes…for me, a bigger penis has most definitely lead to the improvement in confidence I desired…and a feeling that I'm more of a man than most. Increasing my penis size and improving my confidence were inextricably linked…and it was the driving force which pushed me on to succeed.
Final Thoughts…
If enlarging your penis was as easy as most websites try to make out, then all the above would be irrelevant. If you could really just pop a pill and watch it grow I'd say don't think about why you want to do it, just spend a little cash and go for it.
But in reality, penis enlargement does take a little bit of work. Done correctly, it doesn't take a massive amount of commitment to add a couple of inches, but it does take a bit of effort nonetheless. The best analogy I can think of is working out to increase muscle mass….you need the same kind of commitment – maybe over the course of 3 – 6 months. So if you're one of those guys who would like to look a little more toned, but can't be bothered to go down the gym, I'd say penis enlargement isn't for you. Likewise, if you're just casually thinking it would be great to have a couple of extra inches dangling between your legs, but have no real motivation to follow it through, I'd say just be happy with what you have.
But if you genuinely believe that having a bigger penis will improve your life, regardless of the reason, it's a pursuit worth investing a little time and money in. The bottom line is that it doesn't matter what your reason for wanting a bigger penis is, but it must be sufficiently strong in your own mind to ensure that you have the motivation to carry out the task in hand. Expect to have to put a little effort in, be consistent in your approach, and remember why you're doing this - if you do those three things I guarantee that you'll reap the rewards.
